Organic Pomegranate Royale

A really cool twist to the Kir Royale is a Pom Royale. I bought some Pomegranate Grenadine at the Sherman Oaks Farmers Market a couple of weeks ago. I love champagne drinks, kir royale being my favorite. I am not sure of all the health benefits of pomegranates but I’m sure they have some so when you add that to using organic champagne you can feel good about drinking your bubbly!

Pomegranate Grenadine

Organic Champagne

Pour around 1/4 oz of grenadine into a champagne flute and fill with your favorite champagne. Drink and enjoy.

Cheers!

Organic Cucumber Bloody Mary

I love a good Bloody Mary. I can’t believe I went so many years without drinking them! Recently I was enjoying happy hour at one of my local watering holes and the bartender was making drinks with cucumber vodka. He said “I bet this would be good in a Bloody Mary ” and he was right, amazing! So have to give credit to Stone for coming up with this one. Why didn’t I think of this first?

Here is GQ’s eco/organic version. You can make up the mix ahead of time add spices to your preference. Reuse an empty bottle or mason jar to store it in.

Of course you can just save yourself the trouble and buy an organic mix like Modmix Wasabi Bloody Mary.

For the Bloody Mary

Add ice to your glass
Squeeze a wedge of lemon over ice
Add 1.5 oz Organic Cucumber Vodka (Square One, Rain or Crop)
Fill with mix leaving room for garnishes
shake well -if you don’t have a shaker glass improvise with a mason jar with lid or something similar
Garnish with cucumber spear, celery stick, olives, lemon, lime, pickle spear or whatever your favorites are.

Bloody Mary Mix: (Organic ingredients as much as possible)

Tomato Juice
Olive juice
Lemon juice
Lime juice
Worcestershire sauce
Hot Sauce
Horseradish
Pepper
Celery Salt
Garlic Salt

Add spices to taste, shake well and store refrigerated.

Keep it eco and ditch the plastic one time use straws. Invest in a set of resuable glass straws from Strawesome for your home eco bar.
